Figure 5.2.1 tracks the number of citations that open access scientific publications (in journals DOAJ / Gold) received for the period 2004-2018.

Figure 5.2.2 presents the number of citations received by the DOAJ / Gold open access publications for each institutional category. During the period 2004-2018, there is a significant increase for all categories of institutions.

Figure 5.2.3 refers to the percentage of open access publications that received at least one citation, for each institutional category, and their development over the period 2004-2018.
